“A unique eye on deep sea observation” – Interview with Gabriella Quaranta, EMSO ERIC

The ocean impacts human wellness in numerous ways: from its role in modulating climate, to how it provides a variety of socio-economical, cultural and environmental benefits. The mission of the European Multidisciplinary Seafloor and water column Observatory Research Infrastructure (EMSO ERIC) is to progress understanding of ongoing processes in the ocean which affect life and socio-economic fabric globally, while supporting multidisciplinary research on marine ecosystems, climate change, and geo-hazards.

Gabriella Quaranta, presents EMSO ERIC at the SFE2 GFÖ EEF Joint Meeting, International Conference on Ecological Sciences in Metz, while illustrating its mission, activities and services, and highlighting opportunities for synergies and cooperation with other Research Infrastructures.
