Open access research in Argentina

In November 2022, LifeWatch ERIC invited coordinators of national and regional biodiversity information networks linked to GBIF, the Global Biodiversity Information Facility, to its ICT-Core office in Seville, to discuss how they could work together to accelerate the development and use of data technology networks and services to support sustainable ecosystem management. The meeting brought together 30 experts and coordinators from 15 countries in Latin America, the Caribbean and Ibero-America. In this video we hear from Anabela Plos, manager of the GBIF Argentina node, who explains how in Argentina, data belongs to the public. For further information, please visit this page.
