Observations on greenhouse gases to predict and mitigate climate change – Dario Papale, ICOS ERIC

The Integrated Carbon Observation System (ICOS), is a European Research Infrastructure focused on the observation of greenhouse gases concentrations in the atmosphere as well as carbon fluxes between the atmosphere, the land surface and the oceans. Thus, ICOS is rooted in three domains: Atmosphere, Ecosystem and Ocean.

Dario Papale, University of Tuscia (Viterbo, Italy), CMCC, and Director of the ICOS Ecosystem Thematic Centre, presents this research infrastructure, its components, network, activities and products, at the SFE2 GFÖ EEF Joint Meeting, International Conference on Ecological Sciences in Metz.
