Built on the successful Synchronisation Force series from the FAIRsFAIR project, FAIR-IMPACT continues maintaining a dialogue for collaboration and harmonisation with various projects, initiatives, and actors in both EOSC and FAIR ecosystems. The Synchronisation Force workshop aims to discuss common challenges and priorities related to turning the FAIR principles into practice. Four online collaborative sessions between the 21–24 November 2022 will assess the implementation of selected recommendations to reduce redundancy and ensure that solutions are more widely promoted and sustainable and can be transferred to the relevant EOSC Partnership and current and future EOSC stakeholders.

This first session gave an introduction to the FAIR-IMPACT project and guided participants through the Synchronisation Force workshop goals, topics, the benchmark recommendations that will guide the discussion and what we expect from participants.
