In Spring 2023, HuFoSS visited the Tuscan Archipelago, in Italy, to conduct the first stakeholder engagement activities within the Marine SABRES project. Marine SABRES is an EU-funded research project aiming to reverse marine biodiversity decline and support a sustainable blue economy by increasing the uptake of ecosystem-based management. As part of this work, we’re co-designing a simple socio-ecological system with stakeholders from three regions: the Arctic Northeast Atlantic, the Tuscan Archipelago, and Macaronesia.
